Trekking Tours

Nicaragua has a variety of volcanos, natural parks and private reserves, where you can participate on trekking tours. You may spend from few hours to few days on trekking tour. In a country that is so wonderfully preserved you will find plenty of cloud forests, jungles, beaches, mountains and villages to explore on feet.

El Jaguar private reserve has some great hiking opportunities. The reserve is home to 290 of bird species as well as exotic flora and fauna.

Mombacho volcano natural reserve has several trails for hikers. Trails go along cloud forest and along the way are spectacular view points over city of Granada.

Laguna Apoy natural reserve is a caldera of an extinct volcano surrounded by a  tropical dry forest with abundad wild life. Hiking trails takes you around the lake Apyo, where you can have a swim in a crystal clear water.
